Stitch and Pitch in Kansas City

GO ROYALS GO!
Me and the peeps went to the Royals game in Kansas City for
"stitch and pitch day". We had a blast. The royals normally suck
but they beat the Phillies 17 to 5.



The wheather was good and had really good seats. We got some
goodies for free too. Free food, snacks, and hanging out with
your friends, priceless!

Part 2

Day of Walk
We were so excited about walking that morning. We could not wait to see people's reaction to the tag. We tagged the entire trail of the walk.








We are so proud to be apart of KC AIDS walk this year. We really felt good about tagging the walk. People seem to like it and the pieces looked great! Great work Peeps!

AIDS walk tag (revised)

For our second tag, we decided to tag the Kansas City AIDS walk. We walked in the walk the next day and had a great time. Knit happens wants to support our community so we thought this would be a great way to show our support for a worthy cause.



Our stash for the AIDS walk. We chose different shades of red to knit with for this tag. We like embellishments, so the girls went all out for this tag. We used ribbons, handmade flowers, buttons, and recycled plastic bags.
